Former eNCA and eTV sports anchor, Sandile KaNqose was confirmed dead on Monday evening.
The 42-year-old was announced dead on eNCA Facebook page.
Lovers of the presenter poured out tribute on social media, as many were left heartbroken by the news.
Former eNCA information anchor and present SABC information anchor Florence Letoaba tweeted: “My heart is broken in a billion pieces, a former colleague, a phenomenal broadcaster, a real mensch, Sandile ka Nqose, goodbye my brother, I will hold you in my heart always.”
Award-winning news anchor from NewzRoom Afrika, Xoli Mngambi also paid tribute.
“This is devastating. A passionate and enthusiastic broadcaster is no more. Our on-air banter was always filled with fun and laughter. I cannot imagine the pain and heartache that his family is going through. Vata Ngobeni, strength to your team as well. Rest In Peace Sandile.”
The cause of his death is yet to be unknown.
