South African fashion designer, Rich Mnisi drops first 2021 collection and it’s garnered mixed feelings.
Out of all the designs unveiled on Tuesday, the Xibelani Skirt worth R60k causes an uproar on social media.
Most South Africans aren’t pleased with the price, as some claim they are not the target market.
However, a few persons defended him against trolls.
“If LV can put a R15000 price tag on a plastic face shield with their logo then why can’t Rich Mnisi put a R60000 price tag on Xibelani?” a tweep said.
Check out reactions below:

If Rich Mnisi is selling Xibelani for R59k then it means he has sold one or more around that price range for him to have established a market… y’all must just wait for Mr Price 🤷🏿♂️

The only way to recoup monies from the rich it will be through setting a price appealing to the rich! Love your strategy Rich Mnisi! https://t.co/95MXHDMEOW

You just wanted to tell us that Rich Mnisi is Tsonga. 🙄.
You can be proud of him as a successful Tsonga man without calling us names.
