South African rapper, Zakwe calls urges people to reach out to artists and not always assume everything is fine.
The musician says artists are going through the most, and just a DM or call might simply help.
He also encouraged the act of requesting for your favourite artist’s songs on radio and different platforms it can be aired.
Taking to Instagram, he spilled out this advice.
“Sometimes, just sometimes, do check on your favorite artist if they are quite, give them a ring, DM, wall post, request for their music on radio or TV, ask TV programs why engekho usbani bani etc. We all go through the most, abanye it’s not because kuphele umsoco but they just not willing to fight anymore, kuphele uthando ngqo, ngezinkinga abazifica phakathi kwi industry,” he said.
“Do not let go, do not say, usewile usbani bani, check up on them, you might be the reason they come back,” he added.
