Prince Kaybee has shown support to Master KG after record label company revealed they will be suing brands and companies that used “Jerusalema” in videos.
The company has called out every brand who has used the song to pay license fee.
However, the news has brought mixed feeling to a lot of social media users as some felt it wasn’t necessary.
Prince Kaybee on the other hand decided to share his own thoughts regarding the issue.
The DJ shared that it’s not invalid for Master KG to ask for money
Prince mentioned that some brands joined the challenge not just because they love the song but to use in promoting their businesses thereby hijacking the global trend created by the song which is like getting international ad campaign at zero cost.
Prince Kaybee tweeted: “Its not invalid for @MasterKGsa to ask for money. Some companies were not joining the challenge because they love the song but to hijack the global trend created by the song which is like getting international ad campaign at zero cost.”
