Kalawa Jazmee dropped a shocking news about legend Oskido departing the record label after being a boss there for over 20 years.
Taking to Twitter on the 1st day of April, the label announced in series of tweets that the DJ will officially bid the label bye.
“[BREAKING NEWS] After years of contributing towards the talent of Mzansi and building a record label that played a role in the music industry today, @OskidoIBeliev bids farewell to Kalawa Jazmee,” the label tweeted.
The DJ is yet to share an official statement on it, but there was a press briefing about it.
Reacting to the news on social media, Oskido said: “Okungapheli kuyahlola.”
However, fans are refusing to believe the news, knowing he own the label. Meanwhile, there’s been lots of prank flying today, as it’s April fool. So, fans are assuming it’s another prank.

Speaking to SowetanLive about Kalawa Jazmee, the DJ said:
“Kalawa Jazmee has been part of the pioneers of kwaito ever since we had a change from the bubblegum era. It happened around the death of the apartheid era.
“We decided to start creating our own music and start owning our own businesses in the music industry, not only in the form of entertainment but have ownership. It created an economy, Little did we know what we were creating was going to be something that was celebrated in our country and worldwide.”
Kalawa Jazmee is a South African record label co-founded by Oskido. It is reputable as a major contributor to the development of the Kwaito genre of music in South Africa. Kalawa Jazmee Records has been a pioneering independent record label in South Africa for over 25 years of its existence.
