Black Coffee has reportedly gone legal against Nota Baloyi as they will appear in Randburg Magistrate Court.
The two have episodic war against each other, and both parties aren’t willing to surrender.
Nota was assaulted by South African police officials days ago, and his phone was seized. The social media activist suspected Black Coffee to be the person behind the hideous event as he had called him out over abuse allegations made by his former wife, Enhle Mbali against him (the DJ).
Taking to Instagram, Nota penned down how the international DJ’s lawyers threatened him.

“BLACK COFFEE’S LAWYERS THREATENED TO SUE ME AND I MADE A MEAL OF IT. THEN THE MAYOR OF EKHURULENI SENT ME A DM AND POSTED PICTURES OF HIMSELF STANDING SHOULDER TO SHOULDER WITH THE ABUSER AS WELL AS PARTYING WITH CONVICTED WOMAN BEATER @MDUMANANA AT @FIKILEMBALULA’S 50TH BIRTHDAY PARTY, THE DAY AFTER MY UNLAWFUL ARREST AND ASSAULT BY @SAPOLICESERVICE_ZA.”
“THEN BLACK COFFEE’S LAWYERS SENT ME ANOTHER CEASE AND DESIST LETTER GIVING ME A FINAL CHANCE TO APOLOGISE TO THE ABUSER AND RAPE APOLOGIST OR ELSE THEY’LL ASK A COURT TO CENSURE ME. THE ENTIRE SAGA PUT HIS ABUSE ALLEGATIONS AND RAPE APOLOGIST STANCE ON THE FRONT PAGE OF THE MOST CIRCULATED DAILY NEWS PAPER IN SOUTH AFRICA. @MZWANDILE_MASINA REALISED THEN THAT HE’D HAVE TO DELETE THE PICTURES OF HIM STANDING SHOULDER TO SHOULDER WITH BLACK COFFEE AND NOW THAT THE ABUSE CASE AGAINST HIM WILL BE HEARD BY THE RANDBURG MAGISTRATES COURT ON THE 12TH OF APRIL, HE’S BECOME A POLITICAL LIABILITY.”
“THE GRANTING OF A PROTECTION ORDER AGAINST HIM IS PROOF THAT THE COURT BELIEVES THERE IS SUFFICIENT EVIDENCE AGAINST HIM. IT’S TIME TO ISOLATE HIM, IT’S TIME TO DISSASOCIATE AND TO DISTANCE ONESELF FROM HIM. THAT GOES FOR ALL THE BRANDS AND PUBLIC FIGURES THAT HAVE SUPPORTED AND UNWITTINGLY ENABLED HIM TO CONTINUE HIS ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR BEFORE HE ENACTS FURTHER VIOLENCE ON EITHER HIS WIFE OR ANY OF HER SYMPATHISERS… THIS IS A RECKONING, MEN AND WOMEN JOINING HANDS TO FIGHT THE SCOURGE OF GENDERBASED VIOLENCE WHICH AFFECTS US ALL. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH,” Nota said.
The music analyst tagged some international artists like, Beyonce and Diddy to intervene.
