Simphiwe Manzini has been reportedly arrested after confessing to pranking the nation on Wednesday night, 19th of May, 2021.
The 28-year-old left South Africans in distress after revealing on her Facebook account that she’s being kidnapped.
However, it was revealed that it was all a lie after some men came together trying to find her via the location she shared on social media.
Simphiwe has confessed to pranking tons of people and has been arrested by Gauteng police.
According to IOL, Gauteng police spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo said the lady was charged with perjury, fraud and defeating the ends of justice for opening a false hijacking case at the Protea Glen Police Station in Soweto.
