Unathi has taken to her social media to celebrate her father as Father’s day is fast approaching.
Taking to Instagram, the star stated she woke up a little emotional today.
She stated that he is the first man she ever loved and she is happy to call him her father.
“I woke up a little emotional today and sent my father pictures of him with MY children. Father’s Day is coming up and the first man I ever loved was a black man. My father.”
Unathi went on to honour the love she got from her father as she thanked him for raising her to be the woman she is today.
“I thought I should just start today honouring that LOVE. The love that has LOVINGLY raised me to be the woman that I am today. The love that always reminds me of the blood that runs through my veins.”
In her post, Unathi shared some of the pictures taken with her dad before his death.
