South African Amapiano Awards will be having her first ever awards this year and it promises to be sizzling.
After the controversy and legal issue that spurt from the announcement of the event, the organizers are still firm on making sure the event holds.
Taking to social media, it was announced that the first amapiano award will hold on the 23rd of October, 2021, at Sandton Convention Centre.

One of the major issue most South Africans had with the event is the nominees list. It was revealed that over 20 Amapiano stars were not on the list.
Meanwhile, DJ Maphorisa questioned the existence of the event and also asked who created the awards.
