FORMER Generations actress Sindisiwe “Sindi” Buthelezi was announced dead on Wednesday and it shocked most South Africans.
However, the cause of her death was unknown to the public as of 28th of July.
Speaking to Daily Sun, her sister Nonhlanhla Sikhakhane revealed what caused her sister’s death.
“Although she had been sick for about three weeks after finding out she had diabetes, we were not expecting this as a family. It has been a very difficult time for us and we thank everyone who has been sending messages of condolences. We appreciate it.”
“She was bubbly and caring, someone who loved to joke around,” she said.
Nonhlanhla said there will be no memorial service and her sister would be buried on Saturday, 31 July in Ratanda in Heidelberg, Gauteng.
Other actors and actresses in the industry have expressed shock to the passing of the 32-year-old star.
