Somizi Mhlongo released on official statement to address all the allegations against him, made by his estranged husband, Mohale Motaung.

Over the past one week, Mohale revealed how he was brutally assaulted by Som, how his car got destroyed, and the threats received from the radio star.

Taking to Instagram on Friday morning, Somizi says some of the claims are true, while others are absolutely false.

The media personality said he has only looked out for the growth of his former husband and tried securing him gigs.

However, as it happens in other marriages, there were altercations between them, which got them defending themselves with different items.

Som said Mohale isn’t a victim in the issue.

“Our relationship has had its ups and downs but I have never been physically or knowingly emotionally abusive towards my estranged husband. I vehemently deny the allegations of criminal acts towards him and would like to clear my name of that defamation.

“What I am going to state, however, is that we had one altercation in which I had to defend myself and both of us were physically hurt by the other. I am at this stage not at liberty to dive deeper into the details but can state that he is not a victim in this situation,” reads the statement.

“There have been publications of stories related to our sex life and a lot of what has been said is absolutely untrue. These are very personal matters and I would like to keep it as such,” he added.

Somizi confirmed that they are divorcing, as it’s being finalized.

However, he’s going legal over allegations made about him.
