The SABC 3’s popular telenovela ‘The Estate’ has moved to SABC1.
The news was made known by Entertainment Reporter Phil Mphela who revealed viewers will get to watch the telenovela from next month, 6 September.
The Estate came as SABC 3’s replacement to Isidingo which ended last March in 2020. It was set to turn around the channel’s struggling image.
The show, centered on the mysteries, deceit and secrets in one of Mzansi’s beautiful gated communities did turn around the channel’s ratings.
However, lately the numbers have been low despite the show’s interesting storyline.
It’s recent move to a bigger channel, SABC 1 will definitely give it the best audience reach it deserves.
According to one of The Estate’s lead actresses, Dineo Langa, the show is celebrating its 100th episode today as it announced its move to SABC 1.

The current episodic run on SABC3 will remain as is.
