DJ Maphorisa opens up on how he got introduced to Amapiano, and he gave the credit to Nigerian star, Wizkid.
Following the suspension of his old Twitter account, the music producer opened a new account, and he did a bit of spillage about the genre there.
Lawd Phori said Wizzy called his attention to an amapiano song he heard, and as at then he hadn’t known Kabza De Small. However, following his encounter with Wizkid about the genre, he took the genre industry, and he’s super proud of his achievements.
“The first amapiano song Wiz heard was by Calvin Fallo Wololo Remix in moloko PTA 5 years ago, dats when sponono by kabza was recorded n i didn’t know Kabza dat time. He asked me wats this sound its giving me goosebumps,” the DJ said.
