Kelly Khumalo has responded to the demand of South African Heroines Awards founder, Carol Mosiamo.
Last week, the event organiser reported the singer to Daily Sun, saying the singer refused performing at the awards on 28th August in Bloemfontein despite reaching the venue.
Carol said, Kelly got to the event but never performed, meanwhile she’s been paid R30k for the show.
Reacting to the call, Kelly said she won’t be refunding, nor perform in the future for free.
Kelly Khumalo’s manager, Khotatso Tsotetsi shutdown the awards founder: “Kelly won’t pay back the money. There was a lack of communication from Carol’s side. We spent money travelling to Bloemfontein, and did her a favour by giving a discount. I will definitely not allow her to perform for free.”
However, Carol is still demanding for her money and says the next step is to drag Kelly to court if she refuses paying back her money.
