Prince Kaybee shakes social media users once again after claiming that Amapiano, which is now the biggest genre in SA, is a male orchestrated phenomenon.
Kaybee is known for being outspoken, often times it doesn’t end well for him, as reviews to his statements attracts trolls and favorable persons to him.
Taking to Twitter, he says Amapiano is a male agenda that has helped lots of women in the music industry; he further appreciates the men for the help rendered.
“Amapiano is a MALE orchestrated phenomenon that has afforded careers for women behind and in front of the scenes than any other modern day social media feminism group, so we achieve great things together when we don’t focus on gender politics. Shout out gents,” the DJ tweeted.
However, his claim didn’t sit well with some persons, while other applauded him for spilling fact.
Grootman I think it’s wrong for you to say that. We can never put any time limit on the formation of a genre. What you saying is moving away light from the impact of abo Kamo Mphela, Sha Sha and it’s just degrading their hardwork to beneficiaries of a male genre and that’s wrong.
