Zakwe has taken to social media to reveal he will be releasing a project soon.
The star stated that he is now in the mixing phase as he has worked with KZN producers, KZN emcees both known and unknown and they created magic.
“We are now in the mixing phase…. Is it safe to call it the – ‘KZN LOCKDOWN CYPHER Mixtape Vol. 1’? Or this does not make sense, to call a project, a ‘Cypher’ mixtape? Sizani…”
Zakwe said that he will be releasing a project this year and he has been working on it since the first lockdown.
He said it has been very draining but he is pretty sure it is worth it.
“I have worked with KZN producers (With X Wise as the main producer and engineer), KZN emcees known and unknown, we created magic. A side of ilokishi, emakhaya and urban, something you will all appreciate. We will also have hard copies and featured artists will eat from this.”
“This year, I will be releasing a project that I have been working on since the first lockdown. It has been very draining, but I am pretty sure nizoyithokozela. It features many KZN Emcees, cause basuka from the ‘KZN LOCKDOWN CYPHER’ now their verses will be heard NATIONALLY!!”
