South African model, Eva Modika recently took to her social media to send a warning to a blog.
The star accused the blog of slandering her brand.
Eva claimed that the blog, ‘Popcornroom’ is using her name to gain momentum, “I see you have abruptly decided to go on a rampage to character assassinate me. I hereby would like to let you know that your efforts will not bear fruits,” she said.
The influencer said she has no intention to fight the blog, however, she would like the owner to stop using her name.
“I understand times are hard and you may be struggling with your blog, by so doing, you’re using me to gain momentum. Kindly refrain from such because it will fare badly,” she warned.
She also made it clear that she does not own a blog and she is not affiliated with Popcornroom.
In June this year, Eva was accused of owning Maphephandaba and the Popcornroom.
She released a letter demanding that Doro Mongy compensates her R500 000 before the end of June 22, 2021, for unlawfully and wrongfully making false claims that she is the owner of these publications.
