Jo-Ann Strauss has taken to her social media to celebrate her parent’s 41st wedding anniversary.
Taking to Instagram, the star shared picture if her parent’s while they were little younger and now.
She said they have been married for 41years today saying they met online as they used radios to communicate in those days.
Jo-Ann went on to say that her parents met on weekends and fell in love which resulted to getting married and raising a family.
She said: “They’ve been married 41 years today. My beautiful parents. My absolute love inspiration. For better or worse. Unconditional. They met “online” – they used radios to communicate in those days. Two young people from Elsies River and Ravensmead who met on weekends and fell in love. They defied all odds and managed to raise a family with more love than one could wish for. We grew up with such happiness and are grateful to be the product of this union … over 4 decades ago. True rolemodels.”
