Here are five things to do for a ripped stomach or six pack abs.
1. Diet is important
For a ripped body, you have to watch what you eat like a hawk. Firstly, all processed foods like biscuits, instant noodles, cookies and the rest need to go. Then you have to eat a lot. Many times a day – like five or six. Stock up on protein like eggs, fish and chicken and if you are looking to snack and keep your mouth busy do so with nuts, peas, avocado and peas.
Bread, oatmeal, brown rice and sweet and Irish potato are healthy meals to build your body with. You should also take protein and carbohydrate shake post-workout.
2. Work your rectus abdominis
When you are working out for a six-pack, the part of your body you are trying to work on is your rectus abdominis which is by the lower part of your rib to your pelvic bone.
The best way to work on that part of your body is crunches and reverse crunches. Even though planks, sit-ups and press-ups help too.
3. Build your core
You also need to build your core so that your six-pack abs can sit comfortably on it. You can do this with planks, dead bugs and core twists.
4. Work on your entire body
As much as you want to have a six-pack, you need to work out muscles outside your core. You need to train your entire body and pay special attention to your eyes. You can work on your lower body with squats, lunges and deadlifts.
5. Drink water
Water is important when trying to get the coveted six-packs. Water helps you get rid of toxins and excess salt in the body. The detoxifying effect of water is what you need on your way to six-pack abs.
Spend at least 45 minutes daily doing all these for that perfect body.
