Nambitha Ben-Mazwi recently penned down a a love letter to Netflix after she bagged her 5th Netflix credit.
Taking to Instagram, the star shared a lengthy message as she thanked Netflix for giving her this great opportunity.
“As I was traveling back home today with my girl @mbaureloaded, she reminded me of my journey at Netflix, how it started and how it has progressed,” she wrote.
She also mentioned the hit shows that she has worked on and said it has been a joy ride.
Nambitha said: “I’ve had it all sink in. I’ve taken stock of how this global streaming network took a chance on a South African young girl and trusted her on the first US remake of the hit show, Black Mirror, and play an American in it with no dialect training or background whatsoever.
Nambitha concluded by thanking Netflix for investing in her brand.
“Thank you Netflix for taking a chance on me, for honing my talent, training, and investing in me as a brand, but most importantly, giving me a platform as a dark-skinned woman of color, to tell my story to 214 million people across 190 countries worldwide.
“I am in awe of God’s continued favor and destiny over my life. Thank you to the key players such as my agent @nashodabilly, the production companies, and the cast and crew who have carried me throughout this journey.”
