Getting wrinkles in hands is one of the symptoms of damaged, aging skin, which can show up even in your 20’s and get worse as you age, if proper care is not taken.
Our hands are constantly exposed to sun, environmental pollution, cleaning agents, excessive washing which makes it much more susceptible to wrinkle than any other parts of the body.
Usually most women follow a regular skin care routine like, cleansing, exfoliating and moisturizing for keeping their facial skin wrinkle-free.
They give importance to their face, but often ignore their hands and they believe that signs of aging are only visible on the facial skin. But the truth is that hands can get wrinkles much faster than the face.
For keeping your hands wrinkle-free, soft and youthful, there are many simple home remedies right from your kitchen that can make your hand soft and smooth and keep wrinkles at bay.

1. Deep conditioning with lemon juice, sugar and milk
Scrubbing, exfoliating and deep moisturizing is the key to keeping hands wrinkle-free. Soak your hands in warm water after adding 1tbsp baking soda for 10-15 minutes. This will help to soften the skin and absorb moisture. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon and add spoonful of sugar, massage this scrub in your hand and finger in circular motion and leave for 15 minutes for drying.
Lemon will help to remove all the spots, dirt and tan you have in your skin and sugar will act as scrub to remove dirt and dead skin cells. Now once again soak your hands in milk for 10 minutes. The rich moisture of the milk will provide antioxidant and fatty acids and diminish wrinkles completely. Wear cotton gloves overnight to provide warmth and moisture to your hands.
2. Olive oil treatment
Olive oil can provide nourishment to you skin and remove wrinkles. Apply olive oil and massage your hands for 5-10 minutes before taking bath and also before going to bed. They will make your hands youthful and radiant by penetrating deep into the skin cells and also prevent new wrinkles from forming.
3. Pineapple
Application of pineapple pulp which is high in vitamin C will help to tone your skin with the fruit acid it contains and remove wrinkles, making your hands soft and beautiful. Keep it on your skin for 15-20 minutes and rinse of with cold water. Regular application will help to get away with premature wrinkle formation.
4. Banana
Bananas are rich in several vitamins and minerals like potassium, magnesium zinc, iron, iodine, vitamin A, B and E and are great for fighting wrinkles. By rejuvenating the skin, they will prevent further wrinkling. Mash ½ a banana using a fork until you get a smooth consistency. Apply banana pulp on your hands and wait till it dries completely. Rinse first with warm water and then with cold water. Apply banana pulp twice a week to avoid formation of wrinkles. If your hands are badly wrinkled, mix banana pulp with mashed avocado and honey to make it more effective.
5. Rice treatment
Prepare a mask by grinding 2tbsp rice powder, 2tbsp rose water and 1tsp milk. Mix the ingredients to make a paste. Apply this paste on your hands and leave it till it dries. Wash off with lukewarm water and see the difference. Repeated use once a week will remove wrinkles completely.
Cleaning, moisturizing and toning your hands regularly with any of the above mentioned remedies and wearing gloves while doing household chores will help to keep your hands wrinkle-free.
6. Drink plenty of water
Water is your best friend, quite literally! Dehydration is the biggest cause of dry hands, and dry hands lead to wrinkles. Always keep yourself hydrated.
