Lady Du has taken to her social media to educate her fellow women who make use of Uber all the time.
This is coming after the news of a 23-year old lady who escaped death after being robbed and stabbed by a Uber driver.
Reacting to this, Lady Du advised ladies to make sure the number plate of the car matches the licence disc so as it will be easy to trace whoever might have done anything harmful to them.
The star said all the cars in South Africa with a registered number is registered in the police system with the owner’s address.
Lady Du said: “To ladies that use bolt Uber can I educate you guys on something, when you get in the Uber or the car you have requested kindly insure the number plate matches the licence disc should this happen we can be able to trace the person, every single car in South Africa with a registered number is registered in the police system with the owner’s address. I worked with cars I know that. So rush to the police station demand that they check the number plate to find the person and arrest them. But just make sure you check that all the time. That’s the first thing I do when I request for someone. Walk to the left side of the window check the disc and the actual number plate.”
