Somizi is over the moon as he bags a huge nomination at the world cook book awards, known as Gourmand Awards.
Taking to social media, the media personality expressed much excitement and appreciated his ancestors for working hard in ensuring that he succeeds.
The book, I Am Not A Chef by Som was selected in the whole of South Africa to represent the country at the awards.
Gourmand Awards will hold in 2022, and the nominees which include Somizi are said to be the best in the world.
Speaking of the nominees, the organizers says, “they will represent their country. There’s only one book per country in each category.”
The emotional Som captioned post with: “Nazo…… thanks for yo support africa and south africa 🇿🇦…..@tasticricesa this book wud not have existed…..to my entire team…..thanks and my friends and family.”
