Shudu Musida has taken to her social media to celebrate a major milestone.
The star shared a 5-minute video expressing how excited she is to have won another incredible achievement.
Shudu went on to reflect when she was crowned Miss SA and the day she stood on the stage.
The beauty stated she pledged to start a mindful movement and over the past year and she is grateful for everything.
“Beauty with a Purpose. I am thrilled to announce that we have won Beauty with a Purpose along with 5 other incredible projects! When I stood on the Miss South Africa stage more than a year ago I pledged to start a mindful movement and over the past year we did just that! Through ‘Mindful Mondays’ and ‘Shudu finds her Magic’ we have created a space for so many to share their stories, to listen, to learn and to start the journey towards Mental Health and Well being.”
Shudu stated that she is grateful for all the single person who have supported her all through the movement and journey.
She also thanked the Miss World organisation for recognising the work that she has done.
“I keep on using the word “We” because it was us and I mean you(reading this) that built this. Without your constant support and commitment to this movement none of this would’ve been possible. I am humbled to have been chosen as a vessel by sharing my story with the world and if it touched only one person and made them realise that they were not alone then it will all have been worth it. I want to thank the Miss World organisation for recognising the work that we have done. You have given me purpose beyond anything I ever thought I could achieve and for that I will forever be grateful. Thank you to every single person and organisation who played a part in this campaign, I am truly humbled.”
Shudu concluded saying that she will continue to speak around mental health awareness
“The work doesn’t stop here, we will continue to speak around mental health awareness and build this platform to be an inclusive safe space for us to share and know that we are not alone. Ndo Livhuwa 🙏🏾”
