South African celebrities are making effort to sensitize people on the need for formal education, as we keep seeing some of the celebs graduate from the university despite the fame and wealth.
The outbreak of the threatening virus in 2020 affected lots of people in school, hence more persons graduated this year 2021, instead of 2020.
Some of these celebs who graduated from the university already had a degree, a few pursued another degree by doing Masters.
Fans of these celebs applauded them for raising the bar high.

Shudufhadzo Musida
Miss South Africa 2020, Shudu’s dream came true early this year after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in International Relations from the University of the Witwatersrand.

The RnB singer, who is one of the most streamed female singers in SA graduated Wits University in July, where she studied Master’s degree in law.

Mapaseka Mokwele
Mapaseka completed her Master’s degree in early 2020 at WITS, but she didn’t participate in the virtual graduation ceremony, hence she joined in graduating in 2021.
“Finished this Masters late 2019/ early 2020. Enter COVID… Chose not to graduate virtually because I wanted to walk across that stage, I worked hard for this and wanted to celebrate fully,” she wrote.

Mmabatho Montsho
The actress graduated with a Masters degree in Screen and Scriptwriting this year, though she finished in 2019, but the virus outbreak didn’t allow the graduation ceremony hold in 2020.
