Umkhokha has reportedly dethroned The Queen from it’s second position of the most viewed mzansi TV drama series.
In November, the new series’ got 967k viewers which made it the second most watched on DStv, while The Queen had 937k views.
Phil Mphela who gave the update also shared his opinion about the news.
“This is significant because it proves that limited series have an audience pull that can rival telenovela/soapies DSTV audience is showing with their remotes that they are serious about being tired of telenovela More series please! From different production houses.”
