Idols SA has confirmed the exit of Randall Abrahams from the show.
He won’t be joining for the 18th season after 17 years of serving as a judge on the show.
Unathi Nkayi is also out of the show, while Somizi Mhlongo will reportedly return to the show after leaving in 2021 due to his marriage with Mohal Motuang, which has now crashed.
“Mzansi Magic is revamping the judging panel for season 18 of Idols SA. The channel will not be renewing Randall Abrahams’ and Unathi Nkayi’s contracts for the upcoming season of the popular singing show,” the channel said in a statement.
Mzansi didn’t embrace the news of Randall’s departure.
“This show needs to end already,Randall is idols and this means will have Somizi and other two new judges no maan can we have The Voice SA at least or a new show please,” a tweep said.
