Sbusiso Leope who is professionally known as, DJ Sbu is reportedly in debt with one of his erstwhile lover.
An informant whose identity is kept secret revealed to Sunday World that the ex-girlfriend got a letter from the bank’s lawyer last year October concerning the debt, she’s required to pay over R150 000 of the outstanding balance of the overdraft that they secured for Blaque Gemini company in 2014.
Meanwhile, this lover who has a child with the DJ resigned the company over 5 years ago due to alleged infidelity from her part.
Since she resigned, the debt was expected to be paid by the businessman, but it was quite shocking to her when the letters got to her abode, and she’s worried of being blacklisted.
FNB said it had granted Blaque Gemini an overdraft of R400 000 on July 9 2014, but the two involved reportedly breached the agreement by default.
The publication team questioned the ex over the issue and she said she has nothing to say.
However, Sbu was not pleased that the bank sent letters to his ex.
“She is not part of Blaque Gemini. I’m a sole director, it has got nothing to do with her. She resigned six years ago when we broke up,” he said to the publication.
The DJ said he could not pay the overdraft due to issues he has with taxman.
