Amanda du-Pont says Jub Jub had apologised to her after admitting that he raped her.

There was quaking on social media in 2021 after Amanda spilled the tea about her relationship with the rapper, who graced Mac G’s show to make atrocious claims about his exs’, Amanda and Kelly Khumalo.

The event made Jub stay off social media and went on a career-hiatus; though he returned to Instagram a few weeks ago to release an apology letter to his baby mama, Kelly.

Speaking of Amanda, it was reported that the Skeem Saam actress alleges that her former boyfriend admitted to sexually harassing her in 2017 after he was released from jail.

In a statement submitted to the police in support of her rape case against the rapper, Amanda revealed the conversation that ensued between them.

“I met with him [Maarohanye], and asked him if he knew or acknowledged that he had raped me,” the actress said.

“He said yes. I asked him why he raped me and all he could say was that he was sorry.”

The Police spokesperson Mavela Masondo confirmed that a case was opened against Jub on the 10th of February.

“The case was referred to Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences Unit for further investigation.”

“No arrest has been made so far,” Masondo said.
