Somizi Mhlongo honours late rapper Riky Rick who was confirmed dead on Wednesday after committing suicide.
The death of the rap star sent huge shockwaves across the nation, Som had to declare that he was not okay.
The media personality who resumed Idols SA as one of the judges has begun work as production resumed this week.
On today’s episode at the show, Som rocked a fitted trousers and blazer, at the back of the blazer, he wrote the late rapper’s name, including the year he was birthed and when the year he passed on.
“RIKY 87 – 22” he wrote.

“Guys, I’m not okay. Anxiety is going to be the death of us. I’m not okay. I’m overly paranoid and there are new variants of viruses every single day so I’m just pleading with everyone who has a chance to listen to this, please let’s be safe,” Somizi said while paying tribute to Riky in a video.
“Let’s appreciate the chance that we have to see another day by being thankful to the Lord, thankful to the power above that we’ve been given another chance and we are still alive. But let’s help the Creator as well and look after ourselves,” he added.
