Zodwa Wabantu and her boyfriend Ricardo had a serious altercation till the police intervened.
It was reported that the unpleasant situation was caused by the entertainer’s refusal to pay for her Ben 10’s Uber ride over the weekend.
City Press said Zodwa gave Ricardo some money and he spent all during an outing with his friend, expecting that his woman will sort out his transport fare.
However, to his disappointment, Zodwa refused.
In reaction, the Ben 10 threatened the dancer and allegedly got violent.
The dancer went to the Douglasdale Police Station to report a case of Gender Based Violence.
“She came to the station asking police to help her as she was afraid that her boyfriend might physically harm her. So, the police went to her residential area and managed to calm the situation down. Later the boyfriend’s family was called and they apologised to Zodwa, telling her that he is not a violent person,” said a police officer to the publication.
As of now, Zodwa and Ricardo are reportedly safe.
