Brenda Ngxoli dismisses claims of being ill-treated by the Fergusons.
It was reported in the early hours of Monday that she’s quit The Queen, a Mzansi TV series produced by Ferguson Films.
Socialite Phil Mphela reported that she’s quit and that the production company isn’t paying her well.
“After almost 3 years playing Noma on the Mzansi Magic telenovela, Ngxoli has left. Word is … she had a salary issue that could not be resolved,” Phil tweeted.
Reacting to the tweet, Brenda dismissed the report, saying she’s well treated by the company.
“Umgosi wakho uWack! I never had no dispute re Salary. I’ve repeatedly lamented how well @Connie_Ferguson and Ferguson Films pay and treat me !!!!”

However, Phil Mphela who dishes out the latest on entertainment news on Twitter has been insistent on his claim about the company and the actress.
“Just to be clear … On this very platform, on record.
– Brenda did not stop coming to work
– Vuyo was not let go because of Entanglement. If you put that on record right now, I will gladly correct it. We also have to address that “since January 2020” thing,” he wrote.
I wasn’t gonna do the next post today because the cast has not been inform and I wanted to respect the production enough to give them time.
But Brenda is trying to discredit me so lemme drop another bomb!
