Shimza drags The Sports, Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa over sharing photos of gallows on Rapper Riky Rick’s funeral ceremony day.
On the 1st of March, the department were at Kgosi Mampuru Museum in Tshwane in the Gauteng province to officially launch Human Rights Month.
They toured the museum, a national heritage site and exhibitions snapped were shared on social media, which included constructed gallows.
The photos triggered the DJ as the late rapper reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his estate.
Sharing the photos on the same day Riky got cremated was inappropriate to the DJ and he reacted by calling out the social media manager of the Minister’s Twitter account.
“The timing, Read the fvcking room!!!!!”
“It’s the social media manager! No fvcks given!”
The timing 💔 Read the fucking room!!!!! https://t.co/P9KhP4ybMH

However, Twitter users claim Shimza is being extra, as the Minister is expected to carry out his duty regardless of any ongoing situation.
The DJ trends as people express what they think of his reaction.
My friend do you know the gallows? This here is a representation of the gallows, were our people were hanged by the apartheid government whilst fighting for you and I.
Y’all need to stop with the ignorance Shimza, busy choeing corrupt tender money byt dont even know history tsek https://t.co/YPuFpdb9SR

So according to Shimza,if one of his friend or celebrities is Shot and killed during June 16.this picture shouldnt be used or displayed by Dpt of Art and Culture,as that would be Insensitive..Shimza thinks the RSA revolves around him. pic.twitter.com/xcrFeIQ9d9

You do not own us Shimza. Do you “read the room” when you go gigging while some of us are grieving🤔

Aowa Shimza!?
Are you buying face or what?
A whole country’s history? The significance of 21/03 ? Because you’re triggered? there’s a significant difference between gallows & suicidal hanging.
Then again you’re closer with the ANC than most of us so you probably expect better 🤷🏽♀️ https://t.co/tKepJdCnDP— Lady Thor ⚒ (@Sbo_KaBhungane) March 2, 2022
Haaa but Twitter and its double standards, people didn’t have a problem with everyone who was calling Nathi Mthethwa out for that tweet until Shimza did it.
