5 ways to recharge yourself if you feel tired all the time

Fast paced lifestyles require us to be on the go, always. Most of us have hectic schedules due to which we find little or no time for ourselves.


Too much work and little time for rest might leave you with a feeling of extreme tiredness at the end of the day.

However, such routines can also engender a feeling of being tired constantly. Also known as chronic fatigue, this feeling may feel perpetual and might be quite tough to shake off.

If you feel tired all the time, it is not just physical work that is tiring you out. You also need to de-clutter mentally and here are five ways to do that.

1. Quality sleep

Ensuring that one sleeps for eight to ten hours every day can help physical stress but in order to feel refreshed the next day, it is important to sleep well, and not just in terms of number of hours. A sound sleep is uninterrupted and ensures that you wake up properly refreshed. Try to monitor the quality of your sleep and try to improve it by trying out methods like staying away from the screen half an hour before going to bed.

2. Introverts need alone time

While extroverts derive their energy from social interactions and engagements, introverts are actually drained during these processes. In order to regain their lost energy, they need alone time to recharge themselves. Ensure that you make time for yourself to recharge and rejuvenate.

3. De-stress

Another thing that our fast-paced lifestyles end up making omnipresent is stress. Stress is extremely common but excess amounts of stress can lead to a lot of mental complications which can further have psycho-somatic consequences. Chronic fatigue is one of them. Make sure that you take time to de-stress yourself every day.

4. Pursue a hobby

No matter how much you like your job, working too much can always be draining. Added to this, is always the notion of working for a fixed deadline and amount of money. Doing something you like, solely for pleasure can have a therapeutic effect on your mind and body. It can also help you reconnect with yourself better.
