Actor Siboniso Nxumalo is excited about his new acting job on SABC2 soapie, Muvhango.
The star expected a different role on the soapie but it appears they gave him the same security guard role which he played on Mzansi Magic’s telenovela Isithembiso.
“I went to Muvhango to audition for another role. But the producers said the security guard role would suit me.
“I said: ‘That’s the role I was playing on Isithembiso’. But I was grateful to get the job,” said
“On Isithembiso, security guard Oscar had an element of comedy. And on Muvhango, my character is very serious. There are no jokes,” he said.
“I’m talented and good at what I do. So I trust myself that if I am given a different role, I can be very impressive,” said Siboniso.
The actor said that he’s happy to be rubbing shoulders with Muvhango actors.
“This is one of my highlights as an actor. Saying I’m excited would be an understatement. I’m rubbing my shoulders with talented actors. It’s amazing and helps me to grow in my field of art,” added Siboniso.
