South African celebrities were actively involved in the boxing match between Cassper Nyovest and NaakMusiQ that occurred on Saturday, the 9th of April 2022, at Sun City.
These celebs were involved because they gave their utmost support by attending the match, and those who couldn’t make it to the venue viewed it on DSTV.
The massive support went as far as emptying their bank accounts, placing bets on who they assume will emerge the winner of the match.
A few days before the fight, Cassper Nyovest over-confidently urged people to place their bet on him as he was certain of winning, but it ended in tears for many as he lost to Naak on Saturday night.
Below are the celebrities who lost their bet, as it was revealed that they placed their money on Cassper.
“I love you guys both @NaakMusiQ & @casspernyovest, my money is on @casspernyovest on this one,” he tweeted.
DJ Zan-D revealed that the musician placed a bet of R100k, though, it’s unsure who he voted for, but the timing of the tweet appears that Big Zulu bet Cassper. “Big Zulu did an R100k bet last night,” the DJ tweeted.
It was tweeted on the DJz official Twitter account that they lost their bet, but people are confused on who lost the bet; Banele or Bandile? as the tweet didn’t indicate that the two lost their bet. “Damn lost my Bet…”

Other celebrities didn’t open up about loosing a bet, but Lasizwe and DJ Sumbody possibly lost if they placed a bet as they were huge supporters of Cassper Nyovest.
