Mzansi remembers Dr Sindi van Zyl one year after passing

Dr Sindi van Zyl is being remembered 1 year after her passing and many have poured their tributes to her.

The star died last year on 10 April, 2021.

The news of her death was announced by her family member in the early hours of that day after been diagnosed with Covid-19 early last year. .

On Sunday, Kaya FM and fellow South Africans celebrated her life.

The radio station wrote on social media: “A year ago, we lost a colleague and a friend. Much of the country felt like they had lost a friend because of the communities Dr Sindi Van Zyl had built as a doctor, broadcaster and social media maven. Let’s remember her kindness and the joy she cultivated. Share your favourite stories and memories with us. #ClebratingDr Sindi.”
