Lawrence Maleka has been announced as the host of The DStv Mzansi Viewers Choice Awards 2022.
The star was also the host of the just concluded Big Brother Mzansi and now has gotten himself another job with DSTV.
Lawrence is also nominated in the best presenter category.
The ceremony will be held at the Sun Arena in Pretoria on 25 June.
“DStv are thrilled to announce that Lawrence Maleka will host the fourth instalment of the popular awards show. The beloved TV personality, who was recently the host of Big Brother Mzansi and is also known for his role as Zolani on 1Magic’s The River, brings his trademark charm and humour to the proceedings,” the statement reads.
The DSTV Mzansi Viewers’ Choice Awards (DMVCAs) are back after a two-year-long break due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This year’s nominee list is dominated by the cast of Showmax’s popular drama series The Wife and sees three of its actors nominated across different categories.
