Deli Malinga has taken to her social media to lend a helping hand to KZN flood victims
Many celebrities have come forward to help the victims and they are being appreciated.
Deli on the other hand started a campaign called ‘Your Pain Is Our Pain’ and she is appealing to fellow celebrities to donate clothes, food and any other items that ma be of use”
She wrote: “We’re an NPO who started an operation *YOUR PAIN IS OUR PAIN CAMPAIGN* we’re working close with the communities, so we decided to intervene with Kzn situation for all human beings affected so we distributed the above letter yesterday which was meant for colleagues and friends in the performing arts sector around Gauteng that we might not have cash but have some clothes that might help others who have lost everything but then the voice in me said *spread it to everyone you’ll be surprised of the outcome* and I did exactly that.”
“When I started sending the letter on my whatsup contacts t’was very late bcos I’ve lost someone very close to my heart so I’m busy assisting with arrangements for her sent-off…. so when I checked my messages before going to bed yhooooo (South Africa, thank you) your response touched me Jhb, Dbn (close friends, family, extended family, businesses, forums in the townships, ppl at la large – thank you so much) I never thought Gauteng you’ll be so much supportive (distance is not a barrier for ppl in need) today I’m meeting with ppl I’ve approached for getting these things to Dbn bcoz they’re all going to one place where they will be distributed to different wards and Municipalities.
