Siyabonga Zubane’s family dismissed assumptions that their son took his life.
The Gomora actor was reported dead on Sunday and it was further reported that he committed suicide.
The news of his death left many devastated and reminded many of Riky Rick who took his life in March 2022.
According to the Drum, the family awaits Siyabonga’s post-mortem results as there was no sign of suicide.
“We don’t really know if it was suicide, but there are no signs. We are still waiting for the postmortem. He was found in bed nonresponsive,” said his aunt to Drum.
“They phoned us and took him to the hospital this morning and we are still waiting for a report,” she continued.
South Africans trended the late actor, especially with his Gomora name, Sdumo.
