Ntsiki Mazwai has taken to her social media to express her distaste regarding Somizi Mhlongo receiving continuous support even after being accused of assault while media personality Unathi Nkayi is facing her consequences.
Recall, that Somizi’s estranged husband, Mohale Motaung accused him of physical and psychological abuse in leaked audio clips by Sunday World in August 2021.
Unathi on the other hand trended after accusing Sizwe Dhlomo of verbally abusing her but he had audio clips that seem to have proven otherwise.
However, this resulted in Unathi getting dismissed from the radio station in November 2021.
The star said it’s unfair that Unathi got “fired” over her “false” allegations but Somizi Mhlongo got to keep his seat on the judging panel after his abuse allegations.
Comparing the two, Ntsiki feels it was unfair that Somizi’s action is being overlooked.
Ntsiki wrote: “Isn’t it funny how Unathi was fired from @dstv. Pop Idols for her false allegations….. But Somizi kept the job when he has a real conviction??” she tweeted.
“Please balance me about the lady who is head of programming at Dstv…..Is she targeting only women? Is she the patriarchy gatekeeper?” she continued.
