Somizi Mhlongo is said to be unworthy to grace True Love magazine cover.
The magazine unveiled the cover star for June/July 2022 issue and it includes Som, his baby mama Palesa and daughter, Bahumi.
However, some persons are not pleased with how the publication gave the media personality the honour to be their cover star despite the different hideous accusations.
“Matters related to gender-based violence (GBV) in the form of physical assault have been reported against Somizi Mhlongo. It appears that incidences of physical and psychological abuse were prevalent and were committed with impunity by Somizi Mhlongo. Furthermore, Somizi is a convicted sexual offender,” reads the official statement.
“Your decision to place SM on the June/July 2022 issue dismisses the words of victims and survivors of gender-based violence and sexual violence. It ridicules them, and asserts that their words and memories are untrustworthy thus a deep, pervasive, and enduring prejudice that impacts all aspects of sexual violence from sexual harassment to rape.”
