Nomcebo Zikode pens down open letter insisting she wrote Jerusalema

It seems the issue between Nomcebo Zikode and Open Mic Productions is not ending anytime soon as the singer has penned down an open letter.

Recall in 2021, Nomcebo accused Open Mic Production of exploiting.

The issue is still on the table as she has insisted that she wrote and performed the sing Jerusalema.

In the letter, she mad it clear that the fight is far from over.

She said some people attempted to dim her light and downplay her work and achievement but she is still standing strong.

Nomcebo wrote: “Be yourself, everyone else is taken. I wrote and performed “JERUSALEMA” in my language isiZulu. The success it has had has been recognised around the world and today it is the highest earning song in South Africa earning Gold Status @riaa_awards . My story is far from over, I’ve lived an amazing life with great people who have helped me throughout my ups and downs, Despite the fact that some people have attempted to dim my light and downplay my work and achievement.

“am proud of myself and I know that my voice will forever be synonymous with this great accomplishment.Thank you God & thank you to all my supporters.Kazi iyozala nkomoni 🤔”
