Zodwa Wabantu is not having it after Malawian government ban her from performing in their country.
The star was all over social media after she was stopped from performing at a show she was booked at in Blantyre due to the nature of her performances.
According to them, it is a “morally degrading stage acts”.
However, Zodwa is supposed to perform at the Winter Amapiano Vibes concert on 10 June at Dominics Hotel in Blantyre but it will not be happening again.
Speaking to The South African on Tuesday evening, Zodwa slammed the decision.
“I’m so upset…heartbroken actually. I was looking forward to visiting the country, meeting the people and seeing the culture. I’m an entertainer, I just make people happy…I haven’t killed anyone,” she said.
A letter, which was apparently issued by the ministry and was leaked on Twitter stated Zodwa had been denied entry into the country due to her risqué stage acts.
