“I’m very disappointed,” Shauwn Mkhize reacts to people trolling her over the new donated KZN homes

Shauwn Mkhize expresses disappointment at South Africans for dragging her over the new homes donated to those affected by the KZN flood.

Taking to social media on Monday, the businesswoman shared photos and a video revealing the new homes.

While the star was excited to have contributed to the community, some social media users slammed her.

Responding to the critics, the reality TV star said rather than make noise on social media people should also help like she’s done.

“Fellow South Africans, I’m very very disappointed…” she said in a video where she defended herself against critics and trolls.

“I’ve seen the latest outrage on Twitter and want to address this very fast. For the longest period of my life, I’ve let the media perception become a reality and now, I will no longer be doing that! I was not made by social media and surely I will not be broken by it,” she reacted to the trolls.

“The headline read “Mamkhize does not respect the poor.” The least you can do as journalists is to be factual and investigate before writing a story based on Twitter. Yet again I was not afforded an opportunity to respond,” Shauwn added.
