Thuli Phongolo has finally responded to claims that she plays pre-recorded mixtapes at gigs.
Weeks ago, a video of the DJ performing her set at a show surfaced on Twitter and many were appalled upon hearing the sound.
She got dragged again recently after it was reported that she charges R20 000 for her booking fee alongside other things like security men.
People were disappointed as they questioned who pays for a DJ to play mixtapes at gigs.

Returning to social media this Tuesday, Thuli shared lovely photos of herself DJing and captioned it with a response to the above claim.
“My progress is more shocking than my slip-ups, they’re calling it a mixtape!? Well, thanks for the compliment,” she wrote.
