Nota Baloyi’s wife, Berita has taken to her social media to announce her separation from the podcaster after she got dragged into his recent controversy as a result of his opinions.
Nota is one of Mzansi’s most controversial personalities.
The star is known for his hard opinions which always rub many as harsh but this time around, many of his fans are unhappy.
In his recent podcast, Nota called out influencer Mihlali Ndamase as he compared her to a “dog”.
He also expressed that he does not find Mihlali attractive and said that he could buy her. He went on to say that she is for sale. So, he anyone can kill her if they wanted to.
Reacting to the news, Berita made things clear stating that she has been quiet because there is families involved in this situation.
She said she and Nota have gone separate ways since Thursday the 13 of January 2022 as they are no longer together.
“Morning tweeps. I was off Twitter for a couple of days. I only became aware of the statements made by Nhlamulo “Nota” last night. I would like to first of all clear the air by being transparent to you all. I have been quiet because there is families involved in this situation. I am no longer married to Nhlamulo “Nota” Baloyi. I left our marital home on Thursday the 13 of January 2022. As it stands we are currently separated.”
She claimed Nota is extremely irresponsible, reckless and unruly and he does not listen to anyone.
“I have been quiet because my safely has been a huge concern. This man is extremely irresponsible, reckless and unruly. He simply does not listen to anyone. I do not condone his actions. I cannot even begin to count the numerous times he has erred in his speech.”
Berita then requested that Nota seeks help for his mental health as he did all she could when they were still together.
She said the day she decided to leave her marriage was the day she had to choose between being married and being alive.
“My one request is that Nhlamulo “Nota” Baloyi needs help with his mental health. I tried my best whilst I was in his life. I tried to also plead with his family about this. He is a really good man, sometimes he means well. He needs help. The day I decided to leave my marriage. Is the day I had to choose between being married and being alive.”
