Burna Boy declares Amapiano genre the next biggest sound to emerge from Africa.
Nigerian music stars have been celebrating the success of Afro Beat for years as it’s grown and garnered lots of international wins.
In a recent interview, the Grammy winner was asked about the next genre of music in Africa to take off.
“It’s already taking off, it’s Amapiano,” he said.
Burna further urged the hosts of the show to search for an Amapiano mix and listen when they get home, as it will change their lives.
