Nota Baloyi criticized Mlindo The Vocalist’s second debut album, Lindokhule which he officially released today.

Following years of starving fans, Mlindo finally dropped the promised project which has featured the likes of Ami Faku, DJ Maphorisa and a few others.

Taking to Twitter, Nota said a lead singe is missing from the album, hence tainting the perfection it ought to have.

The critic recounted how he explained to DJ Maphorisa what Mlindo needs.

“I was at the SAMAS in Sun City, Phori asked me what I think of the Mlindo project & I told him “it’s missing a lead single…” He already had 70% done when he sent it to me to finish off. I added a Thabsie verse & made Kwesta rewrite his. It was the best-selling album for 2 years!”

“That’s the importance of a lead single… No amount of promo can make up for the lack thereof. He should’ve gone back to Phori’s and worked on polishing his album. That would’ve proved me wrong because I told Phori he’ll need to accept only getting one album from him & letting go,” Nota wrote.
