Miss Supranational Lalela Mswane has finally arrived South African.
This is coming after the star was crowned as the new Miss Supranational 2022 in Poland on 15 July 2022.
The beauty queen made history by becoming the first black South African woman to be crowned Miss Supranational 2022.
Lalela landed at the OR Tambo International this morning and her adoring fans flocked to the airport to welcome her with warm hands.
Her arrival in Johannesburg was greeted by an emotional and ferocious roar.
Speaking at a press conference she said “Being in Poland for the past fortnight, ahead of my return to Johannesburg, gave me a chance to let everything sink in. I am grateful and share the crown with everyone in this country. I am the first black woman to have won the title – what a time to be alive. It’s been a big week for women following the Banyana Banyana win and return home. I am filled with national pride,” said Lalela.
